        I just needed an inexpensive paddle for boat play in pool and maybe lake. This one is perfect cuz it breaks down and can be assembled to two different lengths. I needed a bit shorter than the standard and this one is perfect.

        I sent this back...the product design is not great...the hand grip area is plastic that appears would wear out quickly. The 3 piece design is not as convenient as the 2 piece. the paddles are a good 1-1.5 feet shorter than the others i have. These would be OK for a small raft at the lake, in a cove...but for longer distances or open water they just don't seem to cut it. Spend a bit more and buy the better ones.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
