Comments about Schiek's Sports Schiek 1000 DLS Dowel Series Lifting Strap:

Ive had these wrist wraps for about 3 years. they have taken a beating at least twice a week for the last 3 years. they work excellent. the Velcro holds it right where I want it on my wrist. I just broke 1 strap today at the gym and this will be my second set from schiek. what killed them was the rough handles on the dumb bells at the gym. those things are like cheese graters.im sure if if I would have stayed away from them, these things would have lasted several more years.

Comments about Schiek's Sports Schiek 1000 DLS Dowel Series Lifting Strap:

When I first started doing back workouts (pulling exercises such as rowing and pull-downs) I had trouble holding onto the bars because my forearms and wrists would literally give out before my back muscles did. My personal trainer recommended this dowel model and they have been fantastic. Basically you "lock" yourself onto the bar with the strap by wrapping it around the pole. Even if your fingers/wrists start to give out this will help you finish the set. Don't worry about being too locked in though. If you release your hands the straps will come off no problem.

Comments about Schiek's Sports Schiek 1000 DLS Dowel Series Lifting Strap:

I tend to use these throughout my workouts to give my wrist some extra support and help push out a few more reps wheather it be bent over row, dead lifts or pull downs. Huge progress with these straps. Easy to flip dowel around bar and go. Simple

Comments about Schiek's Sports Schiek 1000 DLS Dowel Series Lifting Strap:

They weren't very useful for doing pullups which I do a lot of. It was also difficult to get them to wrap around the bar. I like to jump between one workout and the next a lot and these wraps kind of slowed me down.
