I bought these for my 6th-8th grade flag football team. They give an audible "pop" when the flag is pulled which helps. The belt and flags are sturdy; the problem is the plastic buckle and belt keeper are not, and break very easily. The keeper, which holds the excess belt is not that big of a loss but, the main buckle renders the belt nex to useless and, of the 24 belts I initially bought, at least 5 of the buckles and 12 of the keepers have broken.
That being said, I do like them enough that I've bought several extra sets for my team and have begun to use them for an adult league I play.
If there were 3 flags on each belt, that would meet the requirements of all leagues; however, there are only two to a belt. You may have to buy extras to cannabalize them to make 3-flag belts.

These are a great buy, but they sell them in store for a cheaper price.

First time we used them everyone raved about them. I would recommend these over the traditional velcro style for sure. Easy to see how they will last longer. Only advice I have for you when buying them is to get a belt size larger than you think so you have extra room to tighten the belts to your liking. Great buy !

The product is well designed but 42 inches may be the length of the belt but with the buckle it's more like 34 inches. Which for adults is not big enough.

Although my husband hasn't actually used the flags he received for Christmas yet, he and his family played a rousing game of FFB on Thanksgiving Day with a friend's Flag-a-Tag Sonic Flag Football Belts, and he just couldn't say enough about them. We actually bought his little brother 2 boxes (3 sets each box) before I found these, and we paid [...] a box at a local sporting supply store. Much better deal with Sports Authority!

I bought these belts so that friends could get together to have Football games more than once a year. These belts held up the whole game and look like they will last for a long time. All the guys were happy to have such good quality.

These are about the best you can buy. They are made well and will hold up during an entire season of practice and games.

The days of velcro flag football belts are in the past. We've been using this style flag belt for the past ten years, and MANY of the belts are still holding up beautifully. We've had only a handfull of casualties over the years and they were mainly the belts/buckles breaking from becoming brittle with years of use. The Velcro style flags loose their sticking ability quickly and fall off while running at times. This NEVER happens with the "poppers". Its a terrific product. While they may be a bit more expensive, the life of the product alone far outweighs the cost difference. Not to mention the fact that they come off only when pulled, they last forever, and they make an audible sound when pulled that helps in determining when a runner is down.
Buy these and you wont ever use the velcro junk again!
