I got mine yesterday and did some test ranging with it. I was amazed that i could get a range on a rusty water tower in broad daylight at 662 yards. This is a great tool to have in my golf bag or fireworks technician bag. I dont have to walk off distances to find out if I am too close to buildings or other items when I set up my fireworks displays.

I got the product for use in golf to find the yardage to the flag. At first I thought it was just wildly inaccurate. But then I realized that it does not "see" the flag or the flag stick. It was locking onto the trees behind the flag, no matter how close or far you are from the flag. It's useless for golf. I can see how it might be good for hunting. I returned it after one round of frustrating golf.

I bought this product hoping it could be used on the golf course. It is a bit difficut to hit targets and frustrating to use. I have previously owned a NIKON rangefinder that was a superior product. Perhaps a Bushnell product specifically for golf would work better.

I bought this range finder to use in golf. It is difficult to pick up targets and get yardages. Mainly I'm interested in yardages from 150 in but with this product it seems you have to keep it on target for several seconds before you get a distance. I previously owned a Nikon and it is a much superior product.

Beyond 150-200 yards, you might as well be guessing your targets distance while in possession of this range finder. If the wind is blowing even the slightest, the cloud cover is minimal or your target is well camouflaged good luck even receiving a reading. I am very dissapointed in this product, due to its inefficiency to perform as it should, accurately and on demand. We all know that big trophy wont stay for long, so save your money for something you can depend on.
My suggestions are leica, leupold or zeiss
