Easy to assemble. It took me about 2 hours to put together. The backboard is sturdy and solid. Frame is very solid as well. I have been using it for 1 week and have no complaints what so ever.

Good quality. Nice colors. I really like this. And it was fairly easy to put together. Everyone should get this. I disagree strongly with the person who gave it a one. This fun game is amazing. Me and 10-year-old twins love it.

I bought this particular game because it had the best rating at Sports Authority, and also because it was a fairly reasonable price. I set it up last night, and I will say, I think it's going to work out pretty well. The rim is nice and solid, the mini basketballs seem decent, and the ball return is nice as well. The frame is slightly flimsy, but I think it should hold up. They should have reinforced the legs a bit more securely. Other than that, no major complaints about it.

The instructions were pretty bad. The parts are all numbered and referred to as such (which is good), but there were a few times where a part needed to be turned a specific direction, and no reference was made (and since the only way to identify which direction it needs to go is indirectly by one or two tiny holes, it's impossible to know which way is correct until you try).

Also, I'm not sure why Sports Authority (or anyone, for that matter) doesn't list the dimensions for the assembled unit. I looked all around online and couldn't find it. I eventually went to Huffy's website for promotional products, and found this unit, but with a pop company's logo on it. The dimensions were:

Assembled dimensions 91" L x 26" W x 87" H.

I think that is right. At any rate, it was the perfect height for my ceiling, with just enough room left to tip it up into place.

So in summary, are you going to be getting an arcade-quality electronic basketball hoop? Of course not; have you looked into the prices of those things though? They start at two-grand and go up from there. For the family, assuming this holds up, this is not bad at all.

My whole family loves this hoop. The LCD did break in the first month but Huffy replaced it within a week. Hours of fun!

what a nightmare!!! 2 days after receiving the basketball game the electronic scorekeeper broke. I contacted sports authority and they referred me to huffy sports. huffy sports said the part was backordered and would arrive in one week. This was two months ago!!!Still haven't received a part and now I am told by sports authority that it is now past 30 days and I can't return the item. So, I have a large toy taking up space that is useless. What a disappointment to my son. I could have bought a less expensive brand but thought that this brand would last a long time. I will never purchase anything through sports authority.com again.

The hoop is great. It is well built and the telecoping legs cut its length in half for storage when not in use. Havning just ine hoop is perfect too, the feature where your challenger shoots after you for the high score is great.
