There was one step in the setup that my husband ended up doing slightly different than the instructions. He did it by himself in a couple of hours,so not sure why all the drama in other reviews about set up. We use it in the backyard for baskets and fun shooting.

For starters, I am mechanically inclined. If good instructions can build anything. This was a breeze, but one pic where it shows to put the bolt is wrong, but then if you look forward you find it corrected. Not a big deal, but I hate to backup and start over. Had this baby done in 1hour my 9yr old held it at the end to attatch the backboard, then filled up with water for now. Kids love it, play everyday on it.

I assembled this product almost completely by myself to the end of the installation. Took about 2 hours. The kids have been enjoying it ever since. Great product.

Not too hard to set up, however, be careful to read instructions. If you miss one step setting up the back board, you will have to start over.
Only needed two people when it came time to attaching the back board and this was only because one needed to hold the pole while being attached. Took appx. 1.5 hours to set up.
Would recommend.
