Comments about New Balance LifeTrainer Heart Rate Monitor:

I bought this to track my distance while I run so that I no longer have to carry around my smartphone. I was a little apprehensive about how well it would work because of the fact that it does not measure distance by GPS. I tested it today by mapping my run on a reliable website I usually use and then seeing if this watch would match it. The watch was extremely accurate and was only off by .05 of a mile!
I'm impressed and am glad I didn't spend the extra $50 just for a GPS enabled watch. Way to go, New Balance!

Comments about New Balance LifeTrainer Heart Rate Monitor:

On day 2 one of the buttons popped off. I was able to find the two tiny springs and put it back in. No problems since. Also the directions are about as long as a users manual for an F15.

After a long shop I settled on the NB, price, features, design, all helped with my purchase. The New Balance watch is perfect for cycling. The heart rate monitor and steps to miles conversion are great.

Comments about New Balance LifeTrainer Heart Rate Monitor:

It's not an advance product but a decent watch plus HR monitor for a casual workout.
Big con: to get HR reading you need to press button for at least 30sec which in case of a run is a loooong time. Sometimes is getting crazy with HR jumping up and down for no reason (happened few times during 8months of usage), but then second checkup works fine.
Good product if you run etc once or twice a week. If you are more advanced and want more features don't expect watch to cost less than a 100 bucks and go for Garmin
