The Akadema® AZR-95 Prodigy Series 11-in youth baseball features a Grasp Clasp system to lock your hand in the glove to ensure proper catching mechanics. The AZR uses the same USA Steerhide leather pocket and web as the Akadema Professional Models do for durability and quality. Akadema utilizes special leather on the back of the glove to keep it light and easy to break in.

      I loved the glove because it had the strap for my 9 year old and the quality is outstanding. We play competative ball but the 11" is to small for the younger boys.. 11.5 or even a 12 in this is perfect.. I had to send it back and hopefully they make another size..

        Bought this Akadema glove for my 9 year old son. He's a left handed first baseman. He previously had a Mizuno glove. It was okay, but since he started using his Akadema, I've noticed a big improvement in his catching ability. His percentage of dropped balls has gone done dramatically. Before the Akadema, he wasn't the starter at first base. After his catching started to improve, his coach took notice and he's been the starter ever since. I'm not giving all the credit to the glove, but it has been a big factor in my son's improvement. They finished the regular season 15-3 and are 3-0 in the season tournament, competing in the championship game tonight as a matter of fact. Did I mention Akadema is an American company? Makes it even better. Buy this glove!
