Durability? No idea. I can tell you that the carabiner was great for hanging it off Kiddo's softball bag. I can also tell you that she seems to have a little difficulty opening it...like it's a bit of work. It's not hard: she doesn't need help or anything. ACTUALLY, I think it's a good thing it isn't too easy--because it hints to me that it's not going to accidentally open--LOL!
