The Bauerfeind® ManuRhizoLoc® wrist and thumb splint provides fast relief from painful overuse syndrome. Wear it at work or during sports to help stabilize your wrist and restrict painful thumb joint motion. An adjustable VELCRO® brand closure pulls back your thumb to limit motion at the joint; cinching the closure abducts the thumb so joint motion is restricted even more effectively.
Features

  • Indicated for basal joint injuries and arthritis, pre-operative, post-traumatic and post-operative irritation in the wrist or thumb basal and carpometacarpal joints, severe carpometacarpal joint arthrosis, carpal tunnel syndrome, "Technology" thumb, skier's thumb, and gamekeeper's thumb
  • 3 anatomically pre-contoured, adjustable aluminum bars immobilize and stabilize the wrist
  • Thumb support provides a secure hold; can be loosened using a VELCRO® brand closure tab, giving the thumb joint greater freedom of movement in a controlled way
  • Thumb support can be completely removed once a sufficient degree of mobility has been restored
  • Easy to put on and take off, even with one hand
  • Leaves fingers completely free for full movement
  • Thumb can still be used for grasping; daily activities can continue uninterrupted
