The Bauerfeind® GenuTrain® P3 is an anatomical knitted support that's ideal for athletes. Two integral massage pads and an adjustable corrective strap hold the kneecap securely in a natural, central position, activating the musculature and speeding up the healing process. The elastic knit design adapts perfectly to the shape of the knee; breathable materials and reduced pressure at the edges ensure comfortable wear.
Features

  • Kneecap is centered using a specially shaped massage pad with high sides and inward-facing silicone dots for exerting pain-relieving compression on Hoffa's fat pad
  • Adjustable corrective strap helps to protect the kneecap from drifting sideways and can be tightened to various degrees depending on the loading situation
  • Second wedge-shaped massage pad at the upper outer edge slightly eases the pressure on the tendons connected to the kneecap, thus minimizing the outward pull; provides relief for the kneecap and support during its natural movement
  • Compressive knit and two pads exert a pain-relieving massage effect during movement, which helps to reduce swelling more quickly and activates the muscles that stabilize the joint
  • Promotes proprioception, thus heightening sensory awareness in the knee for increased joint stabilization
  • Innovative trapezoidal stitch in the popliteal region prevents bunching and pinching
  • Anatomical knit with graduated compression at the edges prevents circulation constriction and rolling
  • Medial/lateral stays guard against migration
  • Lightweight, breathable knit will not retain heat and is completely machine washable
  • Designed for: Patellofemoral pain syndrome (chondropathy, chondromalacia), patellar tip syndrome (patellar tendonitis), patellar subluxation, lateralization of the patella (dislocation tendency), high-riding patella (patella alta), feeling of instability, anterior knee pain, after lateral release surgery
