Comments about Teeter Hang Ups Lynx Back Stretcher:
The concept sounded great as I have a slipped vertebra and am looking for some relief; this hurt the tops of my feet/ankles so I returned the item. I was sad that it didn't do what I'd hoped it would - give me some pain relief.

L-5,S-1 problems.I had been doing all the stretching exercises for two weeks. Worked out with this twice and slept through the night without Advil. Takes me less than one minute to set up. Only advice or downside, wear padded sneakers, high tops if you've got them, for comfort.

The LYNX BACK STRECHER is the most innovative tool to utilize and is the next best thing to a trip to the physical therapist's office for a traction session without the expensive co-pay! One will be impressed by its solid construction and simplicity in design! Easy to adjust to one's frame, etc., it's ready to use in minutes!
The LYNX is effective for stretching those troublesome ligaments and back muscles, while noticeably relieving pressure, as it gently separates the vertebrae of the spine. Having suffered from a touch of scoliosis and mild sciatica, my back has never felt better since using the LYNX.
Prior to, I had tried inversion tables, which also did the trick of relieving my pain; however, the act of being hung upside down was not for me and was somewhat uncomfortable, as it requires one to be suspended for a good length of time to obtain any benefit. Notwithstanding, for those with preexisting or undiagnosed medical issues, i.e. high blood pressure, increase of pressure on the optic nerve caused by glaucoma, et. al, the increased pressure to one's head could lead to catastrophic injury or possible death (with the onset of a stroke (i.e. rupture of an artery in the head), etc.). This is a concern since many Americans, along with Diabetes, have high blood pressure issues but don't even know it! Many are overweight and don't see a doctor regularly. As such, the inversion table is clearly not recommended for everyone!
The LYNX, however, is a tool that can be used by anyone. From a medical standpoint, it's essential that one consult with a physician prior to embarking on any "exercise" routine. The fact that one "controls" the amount of pressure to utilize the LYNX, for most normal and healthy people, I would surmise that there would not be any negative side-effects borne by utilizing this tool on a daily basis.
I wholeheartedly recommend the LYNX for long-time backpain sufferers! Without a doubt, it will be an inexpensive investment in your future Rx against nagging backpain and/or relief from spinal stenosis which is caused from compression on the discs which press on the nerves leading to sciatica issues, etc. The LYNX will effectively stretch and separate those troublesome vertebrae and give instant relief. In turn, with this relief, one will feel more energetic to perform additional abdominal exercises which will strengthen one's core muscles and will further enhance the overall health benefits by alleviating more strain on the back by enabling one to rely more on those abdominal muscles and less on the back!
The EINSTEIN effect! It just makes sense! Get the LYNX!
