The Gear Up™ Up-And-Away hoist system is a unique, no-hassle mounting system with a separate bracket that mounts to the ceiling of fits on open 2-in x 4-in joists, then bolts quickly to the rope and pulley system. The 2-rope system provides easy lifting and control and it comes with a wall-mount, tie-off cleat. Auto locking mechanism prevents accidental release.

      I installed this item and hung my bike on it. It looks great hanging from the ceiling and frees up space in my garage. I plan to buy another one. I am always looking up at it to ensure that it is not coming loose but it seems to be fine. So far, so good.
