Comments about ALPINE DESIGN Adult 45-Degree Terrain Mummy Sleeping Bag:

Great Lightweight compressable sleeping bag for the price range you can't find much better then this thing. If your looking to slash weight on your big warm weather bag this is it! Great for warm weather backpacking just beware if it gets to cold, this is all poly so bring that liner! On the bad note stitching doesn't appear to be 100%
durable quality but what can you expect at this price and weight. however no loose stitching from the sleeping bag itself yet. The compression sack however can't handle being hunkered down to much before the sticthin and bag logo starts to wear. Solved simply with a alps Small Compression sack!

Comments about ALPINE DESIGN Adult 45-Degree Terrain Mummy Sleeping Bag:

Because of my experience level, I tested this in warm and extreme temps. (+40F to -15F) with the Alpine Design Hiker Biker II solo tent. In the extremes I added a few layers with the Coleman Fleece Bag and Military Issued poncho liner & GI Goretex bivy bag. (Everything purchased at S.A. except for the GI stuff I was issued while serving in the Army.) If you're experienced it is lightweight enough, saves space and room for extra gear in the pack. The compression bag needs 2 straps going around the width of the bag to decrease diameter as well as compress the length. It would make it even smaller. It is a bit tight and needs a bit of length but it gets the job done well and if you have to use it in extremes, make sure you bring the extras!
