Comments about SPEEDO Women's Piped Moderate Ultraback Swimsuit with Hydro Bra:
I needed a suit for swimming laps, I've never been a swimmer before so it was overwhelming trying to find a suit - but went with speedo since it's a reputable brand.
I loved the fit of this suit from the second I put it on. It is very slimming and even without ruching it actually holds in the stomach. It has a flattering fit. I really appreciate that in a suit.
It held up well while swimming, it stayed in place very well. I've had it for three weeks, and swam 3x a week and so far there has been no obvious wear/tear.
Cons: The "bra" is just two padded cups in the bust area that are constantly slipping out of place or folding over from the force and movement of swimming. You can't take them out, but it's easy to reposition them. It's not a huge deal to me, but it might be for some.
Also - the sizing was very weird. I wear a size 8 street clothes, and I'm not sure if swimwear sizing is significantly different? The size 8 fit everywhere except the leg opening - it was so tight it caused significant constriction on my leg. The torso was noticeably shorter in the size 8 from larger sizes. I tried a 12 and though it fit very well, it felt a little loose overall. So I went for the 10, but then the back was very tight. It was so odd that the three sizes had inconsistencies. I wonder if it was a lot error though. I went with the 12, and even with the general looseness, it has held up well in the water.
