          A disasterous purchase!

          Purchased mid-April. Delivered early May. Flywheel assembled at factory doesn't work according to repair man. Cannot return defective item without disassembling and getting all the pieces back into the box. We all know how easy that is! Call to return. No store returns. No manager available-will call on Monday. We'll see. Save yourself the trouble and buy at a store. Have 2 Nordic Track products from the 90s that never require repair. Nordic Track is not what it used to be.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

              The elliptical took me over an hour to assemble with the help of someone else. The assembly was not difficult but make sure you read the directions carefully. The elliptical felt solid and grounded but the stride was hard to move at its lowest resistance setting. The company informed me I needed to loosen the drive belt and the problem would be corrected. After reviewing the "how to" directions, It appears it will require me to remove over 20 screw/bolts and various parts just to reach the belt adjustment bolt. The machine has been assembled for over a week but I have not been able to use it yet. I'm not sure if belt adjustments are common with new ellipticals but when the problem gets corrected, I believe it will turn out to be a decent machine.

                    It took them three months to assemble the machine,and it broke the next day. Save yourself a lot of trouble and find a reputable brand!

                      I use this product at home. I love all the functions that it comes with that enables you to see how many calories you've lost, elapsed time, and the ability to connect to iFit website. There are so many bells and whistles on this machine. I'm still discovering new things about it. I love the workouts that are pre programmed on it. It really helps with whatever fitness goals you may have whether it be loosing weight, training, or competing, or setting goals. I highly recommend it.

                        While my husband has been training for a marathon, I have been working out on a weight-loss program (lost 47 so far!) and we both needed /wanted a really kick-butt elliptical machine (and treadmill) like the kind you find in 5 star hotels. (We are not members at a gym). My husband chose this Freemotion due to all the positive reviews (and the fact that after trying it out in the store, I was hooked) and having the ability to set it to do all the funky things he needs it to do for his training.
                        I use it personally almost daily, however, I do not use any of the cool technology it offers. All I need is my iPad (to read a book) and I can go for about 2 hours, no problem. Every other day I push it and go about an hour, sweating like a pig and feeling like I got a great work out.
                        I also love how quiet it is....feels (and sounds) like you're floating on air. Because of how quiet it is, I can work out at my favorite time of the night (midnight - 3am).
                        We've had our elliptical for about 4 months now and it's absolutely wonderful!
