    We are using this goal along with the "Sharp Shooter" and it is working out great. My son is a Mite and he shoots on it nearly every day using blue pucks.

    I shoot on it as well using blue pucks and occasionally a black puck. I have even taken a few slap shots with black pucks and it has dented been damaged in any way. Although my gut tells me if I take too many slap shots eventually it will take it's toll.

    I don't imagine this being the best choice for older kids playing games (bantams+, maybe even strong pee-wees). But for shooting it is great.

    My biggest complaint is regarding the attachment of the net to the frame. They give you 4 velcrow straps, which are fine but they leave gaps in the net. I used additional plastic ties to keep the net snug to the frame.

    Even though the product description states this is for ice hockey (specifically bought this because it was listed as a steel frame net for ice hockey) it lasted for about 15 minutes against wrist shots with real hockey pucks.
    If you plan to use for street hockey this net will be a good deal. Otherwise expect the poles to be dented flat, broken apart, and net ripped very quickly.

      The hockey net came with two on one of the tubes needed to assemble it and one tube was mssing. THe paint chips easy. Still waiting to receive the missing tube from the manufacturer.

        Bought this net for my son to use to play hockey and soccer at home. I have been impressed by it so far. It's just the right size for my 5 year old...and is good for us to play with him. I like the frame is metal rather than PVC pipe...should hold up longer. Light and easy to carry around and move indoors and outdoors yet stays put outside with wind. I expect this net to last us a while. My son loves it and has gotten plenty of use out of it so far in the past month. It was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend it!

          My two sons are very happy with these nets. They are easy for the nine and seven years old to move where they want to play and then back to where they are stored. Equally important was the ease that the nets went together.
