Comments about Koss QZ5 Noise Cancelling Headphones:

I bought these because they were advertised by Sports Authority as "noise-cancelling." The packaging clearly reads "passive noise reduction." "Noise-cancelling" means that the device actively produces soundwaves to cancel out surrounding noise. "Passive noise reduction" simply means that the headphones are constructed to prevent sound from reaching your ear.

If you are trying to buy noise-cancelling headphones, these are not for you.
