Comments about Exerpeutic LX7 Training Cycle with Computer Monitor and Heart Pulse Sensors:
I read the reviews on this bike and assumed they were bogus. However, when I received the bike, I noticed several issues right away. First, the entire side of the bike is scratched with paint missing (not a big issue as it is workout equipment, who cares about it being painted well). Next, my wife and I noticed that the pedals are not spaced appropriately (built incorrectly?)the left pedal is 1.5-2 inches further out from the body than the right pedal. Lastly, we purchased this because of the display (heart rate, mileage, speed, etc...). Low and behold, when I got to the final setup (connecting the wiring that tracks speed, mileage, etc...), the wires are severed so you don't know how long you rode! Unbelievable (in my opinion). The garbage that was sent to me is now nothing more than a(n) (uncomfortable) seat next to the treadmill and bench. I doubt if I would ever purchase this brand (or perhaps anything from Sports Authority?) again.
Was this a gift?:
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
