      Comments about BROOKS Women's PureCadence 2 Running Shoes:

      I bought for my child, a large Post player (college player) for treadmill, toning and general work-outs off season. These shoes give good support which is important for larger players (shoes that are too light generally don't work, but these don't feel particularly heavy). There is a history of a broken 5th metatarsal 3 times due to pronation, so now we're careful to buy shoes specific to pronators which can be hard to find.

      The color was better than shown on the web which looked a little too purple (bright), while the shoes were more neutral purple in person. (That isn't the best description, but you know how some purples look like they should be for 2nd grade girls; well, this purple is 'grown-up')

      There was also a nice angle on the tongue which puts it in a more natural location, a little off center.

      Other than being a pronator, my player has an average foot.
