Comments about SHOCK DOCTOR Youth Gel Max Lip Guard Mouthguard with Convertible Tether:

He's a growing boy and I wanted to get him a m/grip that he wouldn't chew up nor a grip I would have to boil to customize.... So it works perfect enspite of not being youth size.

Comments about SHOCK DOCTOR Youth Gel Max Lip Guard Mouthguard with Convertible Tether:

My 7 year old son had a mouthguard without the lip guard and always had problems keeping it in his mouth. He was always playing with it for adjustment and now has none of those problems. The strap holding the shock doctor to the helmet is great too. Have had no problems with the mouthguard falling off. Great product and would definitely buy another next year!

Comments about SHOCK DOCTOR Youth Gel Max Lip Guard Mouthguard with Convertible Tether:

My son uses this product and we have bought it several times, not because it wears fast but because of normal wear and tear. We do not have the mouth piece boil in water the gel is actually very soft so we just simmer the water and then dip the mouth piece for about 10 sec. Only 2-3 times and he bites in between so it can accommodate to his mouth/teeth shape. The mouth piece gets too hot if you boil it and the gel can thin out that's why simmer is better and you will not get burn as you will if you boil when you bite. I will totally recommend this piece to any one playing a sport where you are required to use it.
