The Lifetime® Mammoth 60" in-ground basketball system features a powder-coated steel frame and a tempered glass backboard with fade-resistant graphics, giving you the performance and look of a pro-style game. The Mammoth Pump™ height-adjustment mechanism easily adjusts from 7.5' to 10' in infinite height increments. The system also features a heavy-duty Spring-Flex™ rim with a wrap-around steel brace and a heavy-duty nylon net.

          I bought this hoop for my sons in a Sports Authority store (not online). It looked pricey, but sturdy. I got the installation service as well, and was VERY GLAD I did. The installation manual is 40+ pages with many steps and I certainly would not have been able to do this myself. A friend of mine decided to have his hoop set up by a contractor who was a friend of his, but ended up spending twice as much and the install is not as well done. First day, one guy came, dug a hole, poured the concrete (about 1-1.5 hours), moved the dirt to where I wanted, etc. All very clean and professional work. Three days later, the guy showed up with a helper and had the hoop up in less than an hour! It's obvious that they have been doing this many times before, because they know what they are doing, and the installers were courteous and professional. I am reading all these negative comments here about installs/deliveries and thought I'd share my experience. Maybe those other reviewers had some bad luck, but experience has been VERY positive w.r.t. the install.
