My son loved these. They look good and kept him warm in below zero temps skiing in Canada.

Comments about ALPINE DESIGN Boys' Snow Crusher PAC Winter Boots:

I bought these boots in November for both my boys--same style, just different sizes. It is now the first week of February and for the first time in my life, I've had to replace boots that are worn out instead of outgrown.

I thought I would appreciate the removable inner liners because they could be thrown in the dryer if needed. We quickly learned that they come out every time the boys take their boots off. So putting on boots was a two-step process: put on liners, wedge liners into boots. Then within a month, I started noticing shredded cardboard in the entryway. I discovered that the inside sole of the shell was lined with CARDBOARD. And because the boots didn't do a very good job keeping snow out, the liners got wet, which means that the cardboard continued to rot away with each use. Now there is no more cardboard--the liners sit on top of a "waffle-weave" type of bottom that's uncomfortable. The Velcro straps never held well, and both sets of liners and shells are now ripped in several places. This is the case for both my boys, who are not necessarily rough on their clothes.

I would not purchase these boots again.

I received a Size 2 in Pink instead! I had to make 2 trips to store to return it. Plus my son had been disappointed to miss out on playing in the snow.
