I checked around all the local sporting goods stores and fitness shops before making my decision. This works so much better than the others I came across. Just turn the handle (when it is locked in the cradle) and the weight changes - like magic. Compact and very solid design - weights dont move around like the others I saw when you are using them. Love it!
