This is my third pair in the Lunar series and also probably the last unless the next model improves. The shoe has a lot of padding on the front outer part, and then poor arch support - so it makes my foot feel really uneven and not at all balanced. Also, there isn't enough cushioning in the front - just in the back - so it's not very good for walking or general use - just for running.

I use the LunerGlide 4 as a road running trainer that doubles as an occasional racing shoe. I find the cushioning to be superb, even better than previous LunarGlide versions. The Lunarlon foam is brilliant at both shock absorbtion and energy return. This, combined with the light weight of the shoes and the moderate pronation control, allows a large runner such as myself to enjoy the benefits of wearing a lightweight racing flat on race day without the downsides such as lack of support.

The only downside for me is that I found the toe box slightly narrow for my right foot, but this is a peculiarity unique to me because of a previous injury.
