        I purchased these for my daughter who is the setter for her volleyball team and had so many bruises on her hips from diving for the ball. They are fantastic. The padding is not too much. Our only regret is that we didn't purchase more at the time. They really need to continue making these, I have looked at other padded spandex and the pads are huge and you can tell you are wearing padding. These shorts you cannot tell.
