I own three kayaks. The largest is a 14" ocean kayak that is rigged for fishing. I have fished all over the country from my yaks. I must say....this perception kayak is incredible for the money. I bought it for my wife. She wanted it to be moderate in length and ready to fish from. When you sit in the yak..the first hings you notice is that you have a very comfortable and open cockpit......a super comfortable seat.....and a seating area that sits high and very DRY! My issue with mine is that is is a very wet ride. I am over 6 feet all and 245lbs.... And the perception is everything I would every need and or want. The storage well behind the seat is big enough to put a cooler... The built in rod holder is fantastic as well. Simply stated.... I want one of these for me! I whole heatedly recommend this kayak. It is awesome....." plus it included the seat, paddle, and even a life jacket. Wow!

Ocean kayaking - easy to put in and launch from the beach. Front, rear and side handles are comfortable and in all the right places. Adjustable backrest - paddling in comfort! Good value with life jacket and paddle included. Really like the dry storage, towels, shoes, wallet, keys stay nice and dry. Not too big not too small - 10' is a really good size, stable and easy to control in ruff water conditions.

Perception Sport Pescador 10.0 is a great kayak. My new kayak, paddle and PFD arrived in mint condition. For me, the most important thing about a fishing/recreational kayak is the balance of stablity and tracking. This kayak is stable enough for me to fish in a 500-acre lake and I can reach the fishing spots without much effort. And it is so easy to handle that my teenager son can jump in and have fun with it right out of the box.

Just got this kayak a couple of weeks ago. It is small enough to load in my 6ft pickup bed with the tailgate down, and only hangs out about a foot. I have been using it mainly on the nearby resevoir, and it tracks straight, and rides smooth. Stable enough to carry a small cooler on back, and plenty of hatch space. I took it out on the river last night. It does well in slow water, but a little squirly in rapids (only class I). A little on the heavy side for portaging more than a short distance, but the side handles make it a little easier to carry. My firend flipped it twice (due to rapids), and it had minimal water to drain out at the end of the trip. Would be a great boat for fishing and recreation.
