        Bought this product at a "black Friday" sale. It was easy to put together, very smooth in use and a great workout machine. It seems to have the same quality as a gym elliptical and I would definitely recommend it.

          Comments about ProForm 18.0 RE Elliptical:

          Comfortable, range of motion works well, good flywheel action - these are the most important to me. Takes 4 to 8 hours to assemble for novice with good tool skills. The counsol had electronic defect and Sports Authority swapped me a good one same day no hassle. Heart rate monitor does not seem to be accurate but I have not finish reading manual.

            I got this for myself. I put it together, took about an hour. It is very quiet and fun to use.

            No equipment will help you get into shape unless you get off your butt and use it.

            purchased the in home delivery and set up. Installer was professional and set it up quickly. Unit itself squeaks beyond belief and can't hear yourself think after a few minutes on it. Noise appears to come from the support base and I am unable to find a fix. Also annoying is the ramp and resistance controls are crossed up which wouldn't bother me much; but with the noise the trainer makes the defect just irritates me to no end. I expected a better product and am disappointed in the purchase.

            The machine is not operational yet, so I can't really say much about it except for that the frame seems really sturdy. I tried one out in the store and it was smooth-moving and quiet, and didn't wobble in use. But, then again, I was only on it for about a minute in the store.
