My sonocaddie GPS has a nub on the back that fits perfectly onto this holder. The GPS is easy to read while walking, so that by the time you reach your ball, you know what club to hit. The only negative is that the holder reduces the amount of space for your left hand to get onto the handel. It isn't a deal breaker, but additional space would be better. I ended up making a spacer that is about 1.25" tall that I screwed into the handel's threaded insert. The spacer has a threaded insert on the top that the red knob screws into. I also use the spacer when using the standard umbrella holder. It makes it easier to get under the umbrella .

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
