Comments about NEW BALANCE Men's Minimus 20 Trail Running Shoes:

I am a walker, and I wanted a minimalist second shoe for packing in carry-on luggage while traveling light on international sightseeing journeys. I am giving these a try on my next trip. Fresh out of the box, the edges of the tongue are curled and need to be carefully smoothed out before tightening the laces. Otherwise, they fit like a glove, and I like the lightweight, comfortable, but minimalist protection. There is no liner, so arch support is from the contour of the outsole. Since I wear size 12, these shoes take up much less space than my walking or cross-training shoes.

Comments about NEW BALANCE Men's Minimus 20 Trail Running Shoes:

Everything was great about these shoes when i first purchased them. Until within 3 months i noticed rips forming on the sides, now i have big holes. Not worth what I paid. But if they were made more durable, I would buy them again.

Comments about NEW BALANCE Men's Minimus 20 Trail Running Shoes:

This was my first zero drop/barefoot style shoe, and I absolutely loved it (with a little getting used to). The inside fit was like a glove on my foot which made me feel stable and more agile than with other shoes. This model's greatest perk is how lightweight and breathable it is. I wanted to wear them everywhere!

Only CON is that the vibram soles wore down much more quickly than I expected. Within about 5 months I was feeling every rock or bump, especially in the ball of my feet.

Comments about NEW BALANCE Men's Minimus 20 Trail Running Shoes:

I have flat feet and these shoes have really helped to strengthen my feet as well as banish my plantar fasciitis - also my calves have gotten stronger and hurt less from the trigger points that developed from my flat feet- only complaint is that the heel rubs a bit so I wouldn't recommend not wearing socks with them.

Also, I've tried on these shoes before- I ended up getting half a size smaller than on average I wear- so maybe runs a bit big? Also my feet are skinny and they're perfect for me so they may be a little narrow for some.
I have a running friend that swears by these also that they revolutionized his gait and says he'll never wear another shoe (and he's tried a lot of brands and types.)
