    This is my first time trying out the barefoot minimal type shoes & the Merrell brand. I usually wear shoes with a little more cushion, so I am taking a little time getting used to these.

    They also had us comment on whether or not these shoes are "fast." How can a shoe be fast? If a shoe could make me go fast, I'd be in the olympics. Unfortunately, my shoes just go as fast as I go and that's not very fast.

    Anyway, I wore these sightseeing all over Europe and they were pretty comfortable & loved that they were lightweight (more room in my luggage). I also only started working out 5 months ago (resistence training) and started running on pavement (30 minutes every other day) with these. I jogged in the rain with these and I wasn't worried about slipping. I would like a little more cushion support because my knees are feeling the impact a little bit, but overall, I like these shoes. They are a bit pricey for me, but if they were a little less expensive (hint hint Merrell ;), I'd buy a pair of each color!
