The Palmgard® protective inner glove is designed to absorb impact and help to prevent bone bruises and damage to soft tissue with specially designed padding. The leather construction includes an Astra-Soft cabretta leather palm and Pro-grade, 2-way Lycra® spandex finger gussets for a snug fit and durability.

          My son pitching velocity has gotten stronger. I'm finding that my index finger or the base of my index finger is bruised. Catcher's glove padding isn't enough. Good to know that there is a glove out there, such as this, with reinforced padding at exact location i'm having issue.
          It's working out well, because i haven't had bruises on same area.

            absorbs the sting of a hard hit ball; however, the smallest size slips on my hand and I have to reposition; since I had to retie the custom adjustments in my glove,am now committed to wearing it all the time - problems are when I am in a hurry, w/games on timelimits.
