A light-weight semi-compression short for jogging, running the dog, and other activities where I don't want to keep adjusting my shorts (leg openings, waistband). It stays in place very well, but the wide elastic waistband rolls down on itself once in a while. Love this hard-to-find inseam length - 3" is way too short and 7" is too long since I'm 5'3". The leg openings are a little looser than true compression shorts, but they stay in place and don't ride up at all. I now have this in 3 colors (actually all are black but waistband elastic are in different colors), thanks to a Mothers' Day gift.

I have 15+ pairs every color for exercising! Only con and it's big, is that the sewing at waistband splits from the shorts (this has happened on at least 6 pairs).

These shorts are very versatile. I use them for multiple things. 1) I have to wear knee braces so wear these shorts under my other shorts or pants when playing sports. This way I can pull my pants down to take my braces off after playing without worrying about people seeing my underwear. They are very comfortable and breatheable. 2) I also wear them under work pants in the winter to prevent my legs from chafing and they work perfectly for this. 3) They also help hide underwear lines underneath another pair of pants. 4) I sometimes wear them underneath a dress in the summer to keep my thighs from sticking together and also so if the wind blows, everyone doesn't see up my dress. I absolutely love these shorts and am going to buy a few more pairs.

I bought these for running after trying on the loose cut nike shorts which bag out on the butt and the front (!). I don't know how they got such great reviews. I'm 5'4 122 and am used to wearing fitted shorts for cycling, so these will be good for running. They're soft, feel like they'll move with me well. The material is really light though, I'm used to heavier duty - this may be a blessing, I haven't run in them yet. Hopefully it's not a sign of poor quality but most of the fitted shorts felt like these. Dark underwear will show in this color (purple) and also underwear seems. If you care. Super comfy, good fit, and cool color wins for me, though.
