Comments about COLUMBIA Men's Silver Ridge Cargo Shorts:
Bought this as I wanted some shorts to wear in summer whilst travelling, and also to wear to work on the really warm/hot days. My travelling is a week away but I'm sure these will be put to good use. The one thing that really got to me about these shorts was the pockets. The lining is mesh, and whilst it's sturdy and not likely to rip for some time, it means anything in the pockets will become uncomfortable as the day wears on. I always carry my phone in the left and my keys in the right pockets. I could only take 10 minutes of the keys, and i held out as much as possible with the phone (I guess my hair was being pulled with each step/shuffle in my chair...).
Summary: Good shorts, don't expect to be able to used the side pockets
Feels true to size
