      The vibrating function is excellent in the Timer mode for a soccer referee. It vibrates for about 7 seconds and then beeps if it has not been reset. Also works great as an alarm clock. Can shut it off before it starts beeping. Only negative is that the first watch I ordered had a blank screen and I had to send it back. Got a prompt reply from Sports Authority and reordered and received this watch ASAP.
