    Bought this bat for my son who is going into high school. He needed to move up to a "drop 3" bat, which is what they require for CIF high school in our area. He has transitioned easily from the "drop 5" version to this "drop 3" Easton though this first time he got a hit in a game we were worried because it sounded funny and did not travel as far as it should. It has been fine since, so we are assuming that the ball just hit a strange part of the bat. He says it is comfortable and well balanced, easy to hit with and control.
