      I bought these to go with a brand new pair of saucony shay sc-2 shoes. The right shoe was rubbing the back of my heel a little bit and I didn't want to get blisters. I ran two runs thus far with the socks, 5 and 9 miles, and during each run I went through rain and puddles. Though my feet were a little damp, not soaked, but no blisters or irritation. Just tried running sock-less in the same shoe and within a mile my heel started blistering. These socks do the job!

      My only complaint is that while they offered a medium size in the store, they only carry the large on-line.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
