    I buy these for my son who plays football, runs track, and wrestles. He also lifts weights. So socks have to stay put, be versatile, and comfortable. They also have to last a little while. Some of these Nike brand socks were even defeated by my son; they wore out too fast on the bottom! So hoping these will last longer; they seemed thicker than the others I usually buy. I will return and give an update when I know for sure.
