      I bought this during our 2012 power outage which lasted 3 days. Instead or carrying flashlights everywhere, I bought this lantern. It provides enough light for a small room. You will need 2 lanterns for a family room or living room. The batteries last quite long. I will buy another lantern very soon.

      I purchased two of these online from a different source. Do not be fooled into thinking that since it says 300 lumens that it will be bright. It's enough light for a small tent or smaller bathroom during an outtage.
