I bike, run, and ride horses. Very easy to use with an appealing appearance. Easy to read display, but it would be nice to have a mode that shows HRM and timer at the same time. HR zone alarm is barely audible, and the signal from the strap is unreliable and at times erratic. I can be out of breath getting a reading of 54, and standing still with a reading of 280. I have tried new chest straps and transmitters, and the best advice Polar had for me is "operator error." I have had no problems with 2 HRM's I have owned in the past (1 Polar, 1 not).
I researched a bunch of these and this one seemed the best overall. I was right. Very easy to use and read.
The watch is super comfortable and I actually wear it around when I am not working out sometimes. It seems to be very accurate too.
The chest strap seems weird at first, but if you strap it tight it does not move. It took me 1 workout to get used to it. Now, I don't even feel it much.
Overall, it is great if you are looking for such a product. I would recommend it to anyone interested in keeping their heart rate in specific zones, tracking calories to lose weight, and have better fitness.
Polar makes some of the best Heart Rate Monitors! This one works well. It keeps track of your heart rate durning a workout and tracks your calorie burn for the week. The chest strap is comfortable. My only complaint is when I hit my max heart rate, I can't hear the warning.
