Comments about Victor Spyder .68 Caliber Semi-Auto Paintball Marker:
If your just starting out and looking for a cheap-ish average gun, this is pretty good. Not the BEST but it is good, my friend also has it. I am getting this marker. IF your looking for better ones, don't look at this one. Better ones = more expensive.
Comments about Victor Spyder .68 Caliber Semi-Auto Paintball Marker:
Though Spyder markers a cheap, they are also cheap, if you get my drift. There are other less expensive markers that more reliable, more durable, are easier to get parts for, and allow you to customize and improve upon as your skill level and performance needs change. Spyder is also renowned for making their parts (couplings, hoses), that require routing maintenance or replacement, different than what the rest of the industry uses, thus they can charge you more for those parts that you can get at a lower price. The Tippmann 98 custom is about $20 dollars more, but it's worth the price and a great starter gun. I'm fairly certain they sell them at Sports Authority, and they also come with a 2 year warranty, and if it doesn't work for you and they can't fix it, they'll either replace it, or refund you the cost of the marker. Spyder doesn't have that option.
