    I broke my ankle 2 1/2 months ago and now into the BOOT for the last month. Weight bearing is allowed in the boot. These trekking poles have allowed me to hike further and more comfortably as my leg gets stronger. I am not saying I am covering a lot of distance, but a 2 miles walk feels great. The trekking poles allow you to put as much weight as you want on the bad leg. They let me walk fairly normal without favoring one side. I am doing great in my rehab so far. Leki poles are good quality and I have no complaints. My dogs are very happy we are walking in the park again.
