      This rod is great! I use this rod for salt water only and have caught many different fish with no problem. I've caught huge mutton snappers to 5ft sharks. I use 30lb braid line on this rod which gives me the ability to catch large fish. Do not sleep on this rod. For the money its a good deal!

      This combo was great until I went to set the hook and the tip of the rod snapped off at the second eye. I believe that this rod had a weak spot from factory and hope to return it today. If I am allowed to return this item for a new one I would recommend it to a fellow shopper, otherwise no.
