Comments about G96 Synthetic CLP Gun Oil:

This is easily one of the best gun CLP products out there. It meets specifications required by the US military and, as such, is better than many ad-hoc solutions such as Lubriplate FMO-350-AW, though that comes as a spray, making it slightly more convenient, and the popular ATF, though this is not to say those have their merits. The government isn't always right, but they are with their choice of weapon CLP.

I would like to add that this can be used for general lubrication and corrosion protection. It does mention to avoid contact with eyes, however, so don't use it on things you'll touch directly and then touch your eyes after.
