This stuff is fantastic, except for one draw back. Once it touches your skin it must stay there otherwise you get bad adhesion to your skin. If applied correctly, the first time around (which may be difficult in some locations), this is the best after injury support I have ever used hands down! It is really, really good and I would recommend KT Tape to anyone who suffers from an injury. Go for it!
I'm an LCMT and had been living with pain & injuries of my own. One of the dr's I work with told me about the tape, so I figured I had nothing to lose. I bought some before a huge event, and used myself as a guinea pig. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I'm not only recommending the tape to many of my patients, but am headed to a class to become a certified taper myself! I just threw away every brace and other form of support I've ever used on my knees to help with support and stability over the years. The braces did nothing to help support and retrain my muscles and the KT Tape has. I purchased the product for my 14 year old son who has shin splints. He has had pain since the second day of track practice. We tried everything. His coach applied as directed in the instructions and my son told us he ran 110% without pain. (My son refused to shave his legs so the strips most likely wont last as long as pkg indicated but NO Pain! KEY: YOU MUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. DO NOT TOUCH BACK SIDE OF TAPE AND YOU MUST RUB AFTER YOU APPLY OR IT WON'T STICK WELL.
