I purchased these rollerblades a year ago. When I tried them on in the store they fit nicely and I skated smoothly. Upon getting them home, I tried them out on the street. However I got 3 houses down and was tired out. I was putting in way to much work to move only a few feet. I thought maybe the wheels needed adjusting, and decided to wait a few days. I usually blade between 15-20 miles a week. So I knew it wasn't me. Needless to say, I continued to use my old skates pushing off the fact I should have returned them. Here I am, a year later still blading with my rollerblades that I purchased in 1998. A little outdated, and the wheels are worn but I'm able to blade fast, smooth and with no problems at all. With that said, I'm on the hunt for a new pair of blades.

I wanted to get outside with these on the paved trails near my home. when I put the skates on in the store they felt very comfortable. When I tried them out I was less than satisfied because they are very slow, I was working way harder to stay in motion than I should have to when the trail is flat. It was a good exercise I suppose I tired quickly. I went back to the store where I bought them and the salesperson had me hold the skate and spin the wheel on my model and others I noticed this time, my wheel stopped after a few rotations where as the other models spun far longer. SO! These are very comfortable but very slow outdoors, if you take them to a nice smooth indoor roller rink they might be okey.

A day before I got my job at Sonic I bought these and went from very shaky beginner to a pretty decent skater on them. I used them for seven months for about 5 days a week at our very fast-paced restaurant and I couldn't be more satisfied. I added a Dr. Scholl's insert for more comfort, but I have never had to change the wheels once. Unfortunately after such hard wear and tear, the ankle brace on one skate has just recently detached itself. I will probably be able repair it, but the former glory of the skates are probably gone forever. For the price (I paid [$] with a coupon in-store) I couldn't have asked for better skates.

i had to go down half a size from my shoe size but i like my blades to fit tight for good support. smooth ride love that they are not so high up on leg and fit lower calf. i would definatly recommend these to someone

They were okay in the store, but I was still a bit iffy about them - one major tip-off that I intend to listen to now. At home, I put them on, made it about nine feet to the garage door, and immediately took them off. My feet were dead - no feeling at all. I had to be helped back to the door and only an hour later did my feet feel "normal" again. I am returning them to try another pair on. If those don't fit I'm going to get store credit - I want inlines, not bear traps with wheels.

I have three daughters and we always buy Bladerunner skates. This is our fifth pair and now we're into regular women's sizes. For a reasonably priced skate, they are always very good quality, fit well, and run true. We've always been very satisfied and will continue to buy Bladerunner's in the future.

almost broke my neck with them. The front wheel start stocking on my 3 trip, skating with the speed managed not to fall. The left shoe was really tight, hurting big time. Returmed it, and got the credit after arguing with the manager

Feels like skating in mashed potatos! No glide what so ever. Very slow!!!!
If you are a beginner - these might be perfect but anyone else needs to buy something else.

Great quality item for the price. Runs a little small. I got a 1/2 size bigger than my normal shoe size. Happy i bought these!
