    Purchased this jacket to replace a similar one from a different manufacturer that my daughter is outgrowing. This jacket is perfect! It will be used as a light-weight summer/early fall jacket. My daughter usually fits the size for her age and this worked great. However, if your child usually wears a larger size than other children the same age I would recommend ordering the next size up. The green "surplus" color is a really nice green color and looks better than what I was expecting. The jacket is very soft and appears well made. One thing I will note, if you need the jacket to be water resistant or wind resitant, this is not the jacket you want. I got this at a sale price and am so happy I did -- what a bargain!

        Got one for each of my kids and they love them. They are warm and soft. We've had unseasonably warm weather in the northeast so they don't need winter coats - this is just perfect for this in between weather. Not sure yet how they will wash but so far they have worn well.
