Bought these shoes after looking at them for a couple of weeks. Finally came in and I tried them on. First impressions were great. Fit good (true to size) amazingly well constructed. Materials were great and they are super light weight. I actually like just wearing them around. Ran 5 miles in them on a paved trail and love them. I am 6'2" 205 and have been running in other "minimal" shoes that have given an achiles pain. These shoes are not cusioned like most shoes. The feel stiff under your feet but that is a good thing as you end up running lighter (impact). These shoes also really make you use good form as you just cannot heel strike whatso ever in these shoes. I would reccomend the mt101's to any one who wants to go minimus but want to transition slowely. I have the minimus trail as well but I do my longer runs in the 101's. This is the shoe that brought me back to New Balance from wearing exclusively a competitor's brand.
