I bought this scooter for my son. He saw another child at the skate park with one. After crying over not being able to master the rip-stick, he wanted to try this 3-wheeled Razor. We got him one for his 8th birthday. He loves it!! It is very good for a beginner yet it is fun to watch the more experienced riders do some swirly turns and jumps on the skate ramps. Easy to learn. (even some clumbsy adults have given it a try, with good success!)We have owned this scooter for about a month and so far it is holding up well. The brake pads on the back of the scooter are beginning to wear down but that is to be expected. My son rides this at the skate park along all the other skateboarders and fits in well. This scooter is a head-turner for children as well as parents. Everyone wants to give it a try! Very fun!!!

    Looks better than it is

The kids like it, but the handle bars are a little too short and should be adjustable for height like their original razor scooters.

My boys love riding and spinning on it but it flips them backwards. If it wasn't for this instability issue, I would definitely have given it a 5.
