I bought these to use in the pool for water aerobics. I had previously bought a pair of Speedo shoes which were veru flimsy and fell apart in a few months. These shoes were such a surprise; the sturdy construction, arch support and are so comfortable to wear. They provide wonderful traction while I exercise. The price of [$]is truly unbelievable for these shoes. I went online to post this review and saw them on sale for the July 4th weekend, at only [$]. I bought two more pairs.

As a 9.5 shoe size, I wish these water shoes came in half sizes. 10 is too big; 9 is too tight. Innersoles come loose right away. But definitely improves my ability to walk on wet surfaces.

These water shoes got holes in the toe after ONE wear. Took them to the river this morning and was very upset that a hole wore in them after just one run down the rapids. The insole also curls up and can be uncomfortable or bug you. I have now learned I need to pay more for better quality. I will be buying a pair of water shoes with a reinforced toe area and better insole quality. I'm sick and tired of purchasing a new pair of water shoe each summer. These may be great for water parks or water aerobics/activities but not for river rafting. I was still finding myself slipping on rocks and on the river bank and other wet or dry terrains. Traction could be better...but once again, you get what you pay for. Also, shoes run large. I wear size 10 women's and the 9's fit better so remember to buy a size DOWN in this brand (should you decide to purchase it).

I ordered 3 pairs. I ordered on line since I had bought the same shoes previously in the store. I got 2 different styles. One pair fits, the other 2 don't. Also, didn't realize I have to make return by mail, not the store. Now I have to pay shipping to get my money back. Will not order on line again.
Comments about Oxide Women's Riptide Waters Shoes:
For me these run a bit large, in fact a store employee suggested sizing down as I'm a half size (I usually size up if there're no half size). I later measured the bottom against my other shoes, and a half size smaller measured as a half size larger! So I'm glad I didn't buy these online. Otherwise they're really comfortable and are exactly what I was looking for!

i'm using these as minimalist running shoes and they are wonderful, except they are snug so the toebox isn't very wide. i'm only using these as a transition shoe and for the price i really can't complain!
